This presentation looks at a growing trend in centralised data mining where POS data is analysed offsite and cashiers’ performance compared to their peers to identity fraud or areas in which staff need additional training. Some of the largest names in retail in the EU, USA and RSA have reported sterling results and significant reductions in fraud.
